Silent Walk - Mindfulness Walk

The Silent Walk or Mindfulness Walk is not just about walking from A to B. It is an active practice while you are walking that requires you to be aware of what is going on both inside your mind and around you. It is a walk that helps you to relax your mind.
The Mindfulness walk gives you a special experience to bring peace into your body and mind. Walking slowly and peacefully and being in the present throughout the walk is the art of mindfulness. It is the time for you to enjoy and engage with nature away from any thoughts about the past or the future.
To get the most out of your Silent Walk
-          Pay attention to the present and leave the past and the future aside.
-          Listen to the sounds around you, the birds, the wind and the sound of your steps.
-          Pay attention for what we you see like trees, leaves, birds, sky and the shapes of the clouds.
-          Slow down and feel the connection to nature and to breath and sense the air.

Benefits of Silent Walk

-          There are many more benefits than only physical exercise.
-          It helps you connect to the present moment.

-          Improves overall well-being.
-          It creates peace of mind and more focused and fresh thinking.
-          The connection with nature helps our system to slow down.
Why should we try Silent Walk?
-          Because we talk all the time and our mind struggles with past and future thoughts.
-          News and social media takes over our daily life.
-          We do not pay enough attention to the things around us.
-          To be aware of the amount of noise we make without realising.
